India has a rich history of traditional medicine and healing. Many people from other countries want to learn about Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy. These are part of the Indian system of medicine, often called AYUSH.
To help students from other countries, the Government of India offers a special scholarship. This is called the AYUSH Scholarship Scheme, and it is managed by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. Under this scheme, foreign students can study undergraduate, postgraduate, and even Ph.D. level courses in India.
The scholarship is a great opportunity for those who are interested in Indian traditional medicine. The classes are held in English and sometimes Hindi, and students need to have good knowledge of the English language. All interested students must apply online through a special portal.
